About Us
Cabins On Main are family owned cabins. Our family loves to vacation here and have decided to open up our cabins for others to enjoy. We want your stay here to be an enjoyable one. Please visit the Location and Area Attractions sections for more information on the surrounding area.
Our family has been vacationing in this general area for more than 30 years. We are avid ATVers, jeepers, hikers and love just hanging out together. We live in Texas and all Texans love Colorado! We love the majestic mountains, the wildlife, the locals, and the fresh air.
We purchased the cabins with the idea that others would be able to enjoy the great town of Pitkin and the surrounding areas as well as the rustic feel, love and warmth we have poured into the cabins.
The Alpine cabin is named after the fact that Pitkin sits on a mile long Alpine meadow. The Independent is named after the first newspaper in Pitkin that started in July 1880, The Pitkin Independent.
